Garry Titterton - CEO and Co-Founder
Garry is CEO, Co-Founder and leading business strategist behind Intelligent Positioning. Garry has extensive experience as an entrepreneur and as senior corporate executive including roles at McCann Erickson as EVP Europe, EVP Asia Pacific and CEO of D’Arcy Asia Pacific.
In his time on the board of two of the world's leading advertising agencies, Garry was a proven strategist throughout different world markets with clients such as P&G, Coca-Cola, Boots Healthcare International, Roche, L’Oreal, MasterCard, Goodyear, Unilever and Nestle.
Amongst may other examples of success at McCann's, Garry led the Coca-Cola agency team that created a promotion that achieved 40 million entries in Japan for Georgia Coffee that is in the Guinness Book of Records.
He is a Fellow of the Institute of Directors. Garry was visiting Professor at Tonjin University Shanghai Exec MBA Course and lectured at leading Universities across Europe including INSEAD France, Madrid University, Perugia University and University of Urbino. Recently Garry jointly authored “Brand Storming” published by Palgrave McMillan, which is now course work in several leading universities.
Garry retired at the age of 55 to live in Italy: Retirement lasted 12 months.
Jon Earnshaw - CTO and Co-Founder
Director and Co-Founder Jon Earnshaw is an established thought leader in the field of search. With over ten year's experience in global search technology, Jon was the original architect behind the Intelligent Positioning Engine.
Throughout his time as CTO with Intelligent Positioning, Jon has advised some of the world's largest corporations on their approach to organic search and uses of search technology. Additionally Jon has been heavily involved with aiding organisations through the deployment of the IP Platform in enterprises such as BSkyB, AXA and IPC with their online strategies.
Jon started his working life as an university lecturer in business and emerging technologies. This training background has led Jon since then to provide regular training and lectures on search and technology to institutions such as Oxford University, the ACCA and Accenture in Europe and the US. On a day-to-day basis Jon works with his team to keep developing the IP Engine whilst delivering innovative solutions to clients.
When he is not working, Jon is a keen chef particularly famous for his barbecue delicacies which can be seen on some of the cookery channels. He also enjoys mountain biking, rock climbing, martial arts with his son Charlie as well as studying quantum mechanics in a bid to decode the fabric of reality!
Daniel Titterton - COO and Co-Founder
As a co-founder and Director Dan is responsible for corporate level business operations across the company with a passion for product development, client strategy and creative brand development. With international blue chip brand marketing and advertising experience,
As Head of Product Dan's responsibilities include the commercial development of product lines while overseeing the overarching product architecture, development and delivery.
Daniel has held a number of Digital and Marketing leadership roles in multinational corporations and has extensive global marketing experience.
In Hong Kong Daniel took was a Senior designer at Chinadotcom with clients such as HSBC and Cathay Pacific. Daniel then became a leading Art Director at J Walter Thompson where he worked with clients such as Nike women, PCCW, Siemens and HP. Moving to ARC Worldwide Daniel took the role of Regional Interactive unit head and worked with clients such as Philips, P&G and Coca Cola with their online digital strategies across Asia Pacific.
Daniel is a graduate of fine art.

Robert Smith - Head of European Sales
Robert heads the Italian office and travels extensively throughout Europe and the USA developing relationships with major corporations such as Euronics, Alitalia and Barilla.
Robert has more than 20 years of Sales and Marketing experience and before arriving at IP he worked for the Xerox Corporation for 14 years of those years; First in Dallas, Texas, then in New York City and then onto Europe as Sales Specialist, Channel Manager and Project Specialist. Since Xerox, Robert partnered IP CEO Garry Titterton at Caravaggio Srl, a marketing and sales consultancy. At Caravaggio, Robert was Head of Sales and Marketing.
Robert is part of the American Marketing Association and is highly active in web 2.0 activities. Robert enjoys spending time with his two girls and his animals on his small ranch in the green heart of Italy, Umbria.
Robert holds a business degree from The University of North Texas where he specialised in International Business.
Holly Durn - Head of Sales UK & Ireland, Channel Development
Holly brings her extensive experience in building business relationships in the UK and Internationally to IP. Prior to joining Intelligent Positioning, Holly worked in the media industry for CNN International and ITV where she held leadership roles in Sales & Marketing. Then, headhunted to work for the big five major record labels, her primary role was to increase revenue securing music content rights with UK and International Broadcasters.
After the birth of her daughter, Holly set up her own new business consultancy in the motion graphics and TV promos area winning contracts with Disney, News Corp, BSKYB, AETN, ESPN, MTV Europe and Discovery Networks.
Since winning a place on the prestigious Mountbatten MBA business scholarship in New York, Holly has travelled extensively for work, from attending sales conventions in Las Vegas & Cannes, to guest speaking at worldwide TV sales in Melbourne, Australia.
Donatella Padua - Head of IP Research Centre
As a Professor of Sociology at the University of Perugia (Italy), Researcher in Sociology and PhD in Science of Education, an ex-brand manager and a leading author, Donatella is uniquely placed to run the Intelligent Positioning Research Centre.
For over fifteen years, Donatella has taught Marketing, Communication and Human Resources in academies and private institutions, built on experience in companies such as Procter and Gamble.
Currently her line of research is in the Sociology of Web 2.0 networks. She has written several publications among which Trust, Social Relations and Engagement. Understanding the Customer Behaviour in the Web, by Palgrave McMillan. She currently writes articles for the business magazine “L’Impresa” of Sole24ore, Italy's leading financial newspaper.
Deborah Smith - Sales Manager Italy
Deborah is the Sales Account Director responsible for Intelligent Positioning new business development in Italy and is also responsible for maintaining current client relationship to ensure customer satisfaction for such customers as Euronics, Max-work e Mediawork.
Deborah believes that Marketing and Sales have to work together to achieve the same objectives; in all business markets.
Deborah received a BBA (Bachelor in Business Administration) at the University of North Texas and followed through with an MBA in International Marketing.
Andrew Mabbott - Head of Product Development
Andrew is responsible for the delivery of Intelligent Positioning's online projects, including application development and the next generation Intelligence dashboard. In this context Andrew is responsible for project planning, refining requirements into specifications and software architectures while overseeing the execution of development work.
Andrew favours open source solutions, software re-use, object oriented programming and agile development methods and has worked with a wide range of web technologies from ASP to Zend. He has most extensive experience with the LAMP stack (Linux/Apache/Mysql/PHP), which has formed the basis of many of IPs projects.
Pursuing a degree in Electronic Engineering at the University of Birmingham allowed Andrew to specialise in Computer Engineering where he was enthused by web-based software projects. Andrew moved into the field of Educational Technology being awarded a PhD for his thesis "User Choice in Viewing and Interacting with Open Learner Models" and presenting his research at respected international conferences ITS (Intelligent Tutoring Systems) and AIED (Artificial Intelligence in Education).
After completion of his PhD, Andrew worked as a Java Developer for Brandwatch, a leading social media monitoring company in Brighton
Andy Francos - Lead Search Engineer
Andy joined Intelligent Positioning as a search engineer in April 2006. In that time, Andy has worked closely with a wide range of clients including AXA, blinkbox, Commercial Acceptances, FourFourTwo, The Sun and Alitalia.
Andy offers a unique combination of business acumen and technical skills to his role as Lead Search Engineer, which gives great value to the development and evolution of the product.
Andy is also a frontline SEO tester, using his knowledge and online network of audiences to understand better new search methodology and conversion rates based on user activity. This top-end SEO testing allows Andy to put his theories into practise and report back to the product developers. Based on this research, Andy regularly gets papers published in the leading industry publications. Andy is also a huge Manchester United fan and runs the leading fan site www.stretford-end.com
Andy graduated with a first class degree in Business Information Systems from Middlesex University.
Hemachander Pyarasani - Lead Software Engineer
As Lead Software Engineer with over 10 years experience in developing cutting edge Web applications, Hemachander is responsible for developing sophisticated APIs and Web Services critical to the IP Engine.
Hemachander and his team ensures that the IP Engine keeps up-to-date with emerging search technologies, patterns and algorithmic fluctuations and stays well ahead of the game.
Hemachander is a Microsoft Certified Professional whose skills include C#, ASP.net and VB.Net as well as SQL Server 2008 and crystal reporting using .net and SQL Server.
When he is not working, Hemachander is a keen cricket fan and enjoys watching India thrash England! Hemachander has two young boys and lives in London.
Hemachander graduated from University in Hyderabad, India.
Francesca Cardinali - Senior Search Engineer
Francesca has been a leading member of the IP Italy team for over 5 years involved in project management and aiding with the development of the IP Platform throughout Europe.
Fluent in 4 languages (Italian, English, Spanish and French), Francesca brings deep, unique knowledge to the development of the multilingual IP Platform and the workings of search engines across the continent. This expertise combined with her experience with some of Italy's and Europe's premier corporations, makes her an invaluable thought leader and strategist in the IP European office.
Francesca is a graduate of English, Spanish and German at the University of Perugia.
Chris Dobson - Client Services Director
Chris Dobson brings over 25 years of customer satisfaction experience working with FTSE 100 corporations and globally recognised brands. Chris specialises in Marketing, Partnership and Client Relations, both online and off and heads up the Client Services Team at IP bringing his wealth of knowledge to customers such as BSkyB, AETN and Alitalia.
Prior to joining IP, Chris held key Marketing and Partnership roles with major International Companies, such as AA Financial Services, where he was Head of Innovation. Latterly he was at LEGOLAND, where he was responsible for marketing the largest ever UK launch for a visitor attraction.
Chris is also an ex-professional sportsman representing England at badminton on 30 occasions including a bronze medal at the World Team Championships
Chris is a graduate of London University.
Rebecca Manos - Account Management
Becky joined IP with over 15 years of strategic marketing and business development experience working with some of the world's largest corporations in major cities across the globe.
Prior to Intelligent Positioning Becky has worked for major marketing agencies in London, Hong Kong, Bangkok and Melbourne. She worked at the leading Direct Marketing agency Miller Starr in London then at Data Answers delivering direct solutions to clients such as Barclays and Clairol.
Latterly Becky has worked for global advertising agency Bates 141 working with FTSE 100 clients British American Tobacco and HSBC amongst others. Becky utilises that global experience at IP by directing the European wide accounts with Siemens and AXA.
Becky holds a BA degree in Geography from London University and The Université Paris-Sorbonne plus a Diploma from the Institute of Direct Marketing (IDM).
Ilaria Gagliardoni - Project Manager
Ilaria has acute market knowledge and brings expertise from an academia background in digital marketing and e-commerce to Intelligent Positioning.
Ilaria who is fluent in French, English and Italian, has worked alongside large blue-chip clients such as Maxworks, Alitalia and Euronics in her time with IP, ensuring the relevant stakeholders gain the most out of the IP search platform, increase traffic and convert that to sales through ongoing strategic project development across their European sales touch-points.
Combining her knowledge of the market, which was outlined in her master's thesis on “Digital marketing and online Pricing Policy” and her linguistic ability, Ilaria is a key exponent in the expansion of the IP Search Platform across Italian corporations.
Ilaria has a Masters degree in Economics and Management from the University of Perugia.
Sam Silverwood-Cope - CCO and Co-Founder (Director)
Chief Content Officer and co-founder at Intelligent Positioning Sam heads up all social communications and strategic product positioning. With over 15 years of advertising and online marketing experience, Sam has worked with some of the world's leading brands developing effective marketing campaigns and strategies.
Before running social and content development at IP for clients such as BSkyB, Disney and Instyler, Sam was an award winning copywriter. While working in advertising Sam represented brands such as Nike, Ford, Orange, News Corp and Coca-Cola for agencies JWT, D'Arcy and BD-Ntwk in London and Hong Kong.
Sam's knowledge and research of Social Media, the consumer and its interaction within search engine positions is key to the development of the IP Platform. Sam manages media networks, runs training courses and was recently on the British Film and Television Awards jury for the Digital Creativity Awards.
Sam has a BA in Politics from the University of Sussex.
Martina Cancellotti - Social Media Manager
After her University Degree in Italian Literature, and five years experience in journalism for some of Italy's most prominent publications, Martina joined Intelligent Positioning as a Copywriter and Social Media manager.
Martina has always been dedicated to fashion, photography and blogging. She owns her own fashion site, Glamour Marmalade, which has accrued over 8,000 Facebook fans and many times that in monthly visitors.
Martina uses her journalistic and social media skills to push IP clients' products, especially B2C such as Euronics, through online communities to give them enhanced brand awareness and to increase sales.
